Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the University of Chicago, where she received her AM and Ph.D. from the School of Social Service Administration (SSA). At SSA, she worked as Dean of Students and Lecturer teaching courses in Child Welfare. Dr. Johnson has worked as a practitioner, researcher, and supervisor in community agencies focused on child welfare and child protection. Prior to employment at SSA, she was employed as a Research Fellow at Chapin Hall Center for Children conducting research at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) on decision making in child protection, family preservation and family reunification. Prior to employment at the University, Johnson worked for many years as a researcher and caseworker at Chicago Child Care Society, a Chicago child welfare organization. Johnson’s recent research focused on decision making, risk assessment and error reduction in child protection though research conducted at the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) at DCFS. This work consisted of the analysis of decision errors made by child protective investigators and the development of practice strategies assessed to reduce decision errors. Recent publications include Transforming Child Protection Agencies into High Reliability Organizations: A Conceptual Framework, Rzepnicki, T.L. and Johnson, P.R. (2010) in Protecting Children and Learning From Data: The Beginning of Error Reduction in Illinois Child Welfare, Rzepnicki, T.L. and Johnson, P. R. (2011).
Michael C. Pattrick serves as Manager/CEO of the Michael C. Pattrick Insurance Agency Inc. State Farm Insurance. Concentrating in the areas of individual and commercial insurance, along with financial planning services. The agency main goal is to assisist individuals with securing and protecting their future.
Roberto is the Founder, President and CEO of the Crimson Leadership Group (CRIMSON). Crimson is managment consulting firm, launched to provide strategic communication, executive search, marketing and leadership develpoment services for business, governmental and non-profit clients. CRIMSON's philosophy is grounded on the belief that everyone has the potential to be a leader. They just have to work at it and commit to serving others. Roberto's Vision for CRIMSON is to serve leaders and organizations as a strategic partner. Roberto's Harvard training in leadership, strategy, innovation and organizational development serves as the foundation for CRIMSON approach in serving CRIMSON's clients. Roberto's personal approach to life is based on using education to overcome fear, serve others, adapt to change, and through his work, open doors for his family, friends and partners so they can go further and fulfill their dreams. In 2003, Roberto graduated from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he completed a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Roberto completed his first Master's Degree in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University. A Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University and an Associates of Arts Degree from Sauk Valley Community College. Robertos' daughter, Tonantzin Carmona, graduated from Northwestern University in June of 2012, with a degree in political science and will attend law school in the near future. Roberto's youngest daughter, Xochitl will be a senior at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She will double major in sociology and communications.
